General Guidelines for Notes of Encouragement for our Unhoused Neighbors
Thank you for your interest in writing to our unhoused neighbors. Please keep your notes uplifting and encouraging.

Letters can be large or small, in pen or marker, on lined paper, cardstock, or construction paper. In short, you can be as creative as you wish! There is no right or wrong way to present YOUR expressions of love, cheerfulness, or gratitude!

Please remember our unhoused neighbors’ many strengths; their current experience is only a piece of their life’s journey. Your notes will inspire and bring love and light to them and gets paired with a healthy meal.

GIFT CARDS
In collaboration with case managers at partner agencies, your donated gift cards will help provide much-needed services and items when our friends need them most. Gift cards will help with anything from rides to appointments and prescription costs, to diapers, hygiene, and wellness items.
